I’m looking to secure Casino bookings in Las Vegas for my band Roger Connelly & the Blues Merchants. The Blues Merchants is a 4-piece Blues-Rock Band that performs a variety of original and traditional blues and rock classics. The Blues Merchants have been together for over 10 years and we have performed with some of the biggest names in the business. I am also part of a Rhythm & Blues Revue which features Spencer Davis, Bobby Kimball (Toto), Denny Laine (Wings & Moody Blues), Gregg Wright (Michael Jackson Band) and myself.
Ideally, I’m looking to find one or more casinos that could host the Blues Merchants on a regular basis 3-4 days a week. i.e.: Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Sunday. Although I myself live on Catalina Island off the coast of Long Beach California, I plan to use local Vegas musicians to help reduce expenses and keep the cost affordable.
The band can also be expanded to accommodate larger venues within the casino and from time-to-time we can add special guest stars to create feature performances. This performance received rave reviews which prompted TMO Productions in Huntington Beach California to begin filming a pilot for a new reality show called “Catalina Blues”. The show will feature me and the band both on Catalina and on the road.
